New business park is on the way at DFW Airport

Developers have obtained financing for a new business park at DFW International Airport.

Perot Development Co. is building the 196-acre industrial campus at 5150 State Highway 161 in Irving.

The developer has financed construction of the project in a partnership with Invesco Real Estate.

Commercial property firm JLL arranged the new development partnership with Invesco. JLL also obtained a five-year construction loan for the development.

Plans for the new business campus call for building 2.4 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space.

Four buildings are planned for the project.

Halff Associates is the project architect and civil engineer. Peinado Construction is the general contractor.

Cushman & Wakefield is leasing the property.

JLL’s Stephen Bailey, Dustin Volz and John Rose arranged the partnership and financing.

Perot Development has built a series of distribution buildings at DFW Airport.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the country’s top warehouse building markets with more than 24 million square feet under construction.
